In line with our commitment to enhancing human resource competencies in this sector, GTI conducted the first training for Radioactive Source Security Officers (RSSO) from October 14 to 18, 2024. This training was followed by a certification exam conducted by the Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN) on October 21, 2024. During this inaugural RSSO training, we were proud to feature international speakers with deep expertise in Radioactive Safety and Security. Through these efforts, we hope to make a significant contribution to improving safety and security standards across all sectors utilizing radioactive materials, while supporting government efforts to safeguard public safety and the environment.
Currently, GTI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) to utilize the research infrastructure of the Physical Protection Laboratory in Building 93 to provide training services for Radioactive Source Security Officers (RSSO).
